আজো প্রেম

বৃষ্টি আজো চিঠি লিখে 

তৃষার্ত এই মাটিকে 

মেঘ আজো প্রেম করে 

আকাশের ওই ঘাটিতে 

ফুলের বুকে আজ ভ্রমর 

গুনগুন সুরে গায় 

ঘাসের মাঝে ঝরা পাতা 

আজো লুটোপুটি যায় 

ঘুমের যখন ক্লান্তি আসে 

আমার চোখে নামে 

তোমার কথা মনে হলে 

লজ্জা অষ্ট চুমে 

পথের বাঁকে দাড়িয়ে ওরা 

আজো প্রেম করে 

আজো আমি  হাড়িয়ে যাই 

তোমার স্মৃতির ভীড়ে 

আজো ঠিক তেমনি আছে 

আমার রাতের আকাশ'

শুধু একটু যেন ধূসর লাগে 

নিশীথের ওই চাঁদ 

তুমি আছো , আমি আছি 

আছে আজো প্রেম 

শুধু নেই সেই দিনগুলো 

যা পেছনে ফেলে এলেম 

আবার যদি দেখা হয় 

নিভৃতে কোনো দিন 

চোখ বুজে আবার দেখব 

স্বপ্ন রঙ্গিন, স্বপ্ন অন্তহীন

Forsaken Love

That excruciating pain

Deep within the soul

Buried beneath the

Rubble of blur memories

Almost strangulating

The leftover of me

I cannot bear, 

Bear anymore

The burden of 

Ever-expanding distance

Where two parched souls

Live together in separation.

Each evening ushers

A tornado in my heart

Each night slides 

An avalanche ..

Yet the eternal wait

Which blooms within

Like the fragrant

Jasmines ... buds open

Then I sit to compose

Another poem

Touched by your hands

Words stolen from your soul..

Oh ! What would I pen

What would I have written

If you had not given..

Some love, forsaken !
