Traveller's Song

World that I have travelled ..
I have toured far and near..
Under the sky full of clouds
Or on a day bright and clear..!

Sometimes by the dreamy brook..
Sometimes to the purple hill..
Oneday beating the summer heat..
Again braving the winter chill..!

Many springs I did spend..
Gazing at blooming bower..
Many monsoon I did drench..
Under a sky-breaking shower !

I travelled, and travelled..
To reach nowhere at all..
I shall continue to journey..
Till I end, or world comes to halt !
