Symphony of falling rain

On the break of a new dawn
A prelude to the monsoon love
Hugs my soul, when you are gone

The sea is drenched today

Wet is the life's shore

No sun peeps from the east

And, heart longs you no more

Waves that rise and fall

And greet its visitors with a smile

Touches the ebb, goes back

As if to rest for a while

Anchored boat enjoys rain

All its fatigue washed away

As it waits the storm to pass

And I sit alone, on my bay !

Summer rain, sudden.. uncalled for..

Drenches my soul..

Grasses lay wet..

I walk.. bare feet..

I travel, against time..

My chrysanthemums bear droplets..

And my skin shrinks in glee..

Wet earth is fragrant...

Far horizon dark and void..

The beauty that lies scattered..
