I have caged myself,
In my own soul..
I have built a prison..

গভীর রাতের বুকের মাঝে 

ওই যেন কি সুর বাজে ?

কোন বিরহের অলংকারে 

নুতুন বধু  সাজে ?

কোন হওয়াতে ভেসে বেড়ায় 

কোন  বীণারই   তান ?

আমার কানে কেবলি শুনি 

তোমার সেই মাউথ -অর্গান !

কোন পরশের আলো পেয়ে 

গায়ে ছন্দ জাগে ?

আমার বুকের স্পন্দনে  কি 

তোমার হৃদয় কাঁপে ?

কোথায় যেন দেখতে পেলেম 

একটু খানি  আলো ?

তার  ছবিকে আমি কেন 

বেসেছি  এতো ভালো ?

ছুটে বেড়াই রাতে দিনে 

কেন যে নেই  মানা  ?

রোজী ভাবি উড়ে যাব
