পাইনে খুঁজে ডানা !

গভীর রাতের বুকের মাঝে 

ওই যেন কি সুর বাজে ?

কোন বিরহের অলংকারে 

নুতুন বধু  সাজে ?

কোন হওয়াতে ভেসে বেড়ায় 

কোন  বীণারই   তান ?

আমার কানে কেবলি শুনি 

তোমার সেই মাউথ -অর্গান !

কোন পরশের আলো পেয়ে 

গায়ে ছন্দ জাগে ?

আমার বুকের স্পন্দনে  কি 

তোমার হৃদয় কাঁপে ?

কোথায় যেন দেখতে পেলেম 

একটু খানি  আলো ?

তার  ছবিকে আমি কেন 

বেসেছি  এতো ভালো ?

ছুটে বেড়াই রাতে দিনে 

কেন যে নেই  মানা  ?

রোজী ভাবি উড়ে যাব 

শুধু  পাইনে খুঁজে ডানা !

No More, Do I..

I lament no more,
Of your non-existence,
In my life..
For if you live,
So will I..

I search you no more ,
Here and there,
In this mundane world,
For if my world exist,
So will You..

I desire no more,
A glimpse of you,
For if be my eyes,
In them, open or closed,
So will be your picture..

I stress no more,
To remember you,
For if be my heart,
So will be memories,
Of those days..

Senseless !

Oh!  How drunk I was,
That night,
When I lost my senses,
On you..
Oh ! How drunk I was..
That morning,
When I found my pulses
Throbbing in you..
Oh ! How drunk I was ,
That noon,
When my eyes closed..
On you..
Oh ! How drunk I was,
That dusk,
When a whole I melted,
In you..

Drunk I was,
Life once served me wine..
Holding that goblet,
I still wait for you..
Hiding behind the ..
Veil of time !

Mujhe Manzoor !

Mein yeh samajhti thi,
Meri yeh hak hain tum par,
Ke waqt bewaqt..
Mein tumhe, ji bharke
Pareshaan kar saku..
Mujhe yeh maloom na tha,
Waqt ke sath,
Bewaqt bhi badal sa gaya hain..
Aaj bade dino baad,
Mujhe hosh si aayi..
Ankh khuli to sab kuch
Badla sa paya..
Chalo yeh bhi sahi..
Yeh bhi manzoor..
Tumhare diye hue kafn ko orr..
Mein nikal aayi..
Tumse bahut dur..
Jaha meri awaz ki goonj
Tum tak na pohoch paye..
Na hi meri saya tumhare
Raha pe andhera bicha paye..
Jao ji lo tum..
Haan, yeh bhi mujhe manzoor !

Still ?

Do you read my poems,
To erase pain with pain?
Do you alloy in my lines,
To survive and to sustain?
I know, you still wait for me,
Its you, who still go numb,
As you hold a drink at night,
And read to say, 'its a poetry'?
You fear, my lines may bleed,
As you, with smoky eyes read,
Some words, in the chest of time!
Still wait to read the last line,
Where I say, where I still say,
In spite of all, you are still mine..
Yes.....!! you are, still mine!!

Divided !

The sun broke into two, yesterday,
One set in your horizon, one in mine,
The moon divided itself into last night,
Half shone in your sky, half in mine!
Stars are many, so divided equally,
Some took to your sky, some in mine!
All we shared half-half, but sadly enough,
What is yours is yours, they are not mine!
This day shall fall, and a new dawn advent,
I shall be I,  you shall be you, far away;

Sadly we are but, a whole divided into parts,
You and I are now some residues of dividends.. !

Self-Deception !

In this world of million sounds,
My silence gets captivated,
In this heart of, million wishes,
All my wants get dissipated!
Nothing remains, inside you,
There's nothing within me,
A struggle, with our sentience,
Battles lost, unknowingly!
Every minute we lend a lease,
With a promise to survive,
Yet, we ditch our own vows, and,
Happily, continue with life!
